Michele Kilstein, President of A Long Term Companion, has been a professional caregiver for more than 18 years. As a child, Michele spent over ten years visiting her great-grandmother in a nursing home. At the time, she was too young to change the circumstances of her Grandmom Fanny's living conditions, however her time spent at the nursing home taught Michele the importance of companionship for aging individuals. Michele founded A Long Term Companion in her great-grandmother's honor, to provide for others what her Grandmom Fanny did not have -- the ability to remain at home with dignity, and receive the quality, personalized care that every family member deserves.
